Women Winemakers: Tasting and Industry Conversation

Join us for the first tasting of the new semester. We’ll be diving into the world of women winemakers and how they’ve made their mark in an industry that still remains predominantly male-dominated, talking about what actually goes on behind the scenes in the wine business. Expect honest conversations about topics like gender inequality, stereotypes, marketing tricks (and when it turns into straight-up pinkwashing), and what it means to start your own winery from scratch vs. taking over a family one. In this one, we will have an additional emphasis on the business of wine and of course, we’ll be tasting five different wines - both red and white - from all around the world. No fancy prior knowledge needed, just curiosity and a good mood.
