SANTIAGO ARIAS - Más allá - Argentine folklore Santiago Arias is a multi-instrumentalist (bandoneon, guitar, electric bass, alto saxophone, percussion, and vocals) originally from the town of Tilcara, Jujuy, northern Argentina.He learned music from a young age at home, taught by his father and immersed in the local musical environment.At the age of 18, he moved to Buenos Aires to study classical music for three years at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory. He then continued his education independently, studying with renowned teachers such as Dino Saluzzi, Juan Carlos "Mono" Fontana, and César Franov. He performs traditional folk music from his Andean region, while also incorporating influences from other genres he has studied, including jazz, classical, and world music.He has released two solo albums: Fuellisto (2014, independent) and Evocación de Carnaval (2021, Shagrada Medra), as well as four albums with ensemble projects.He took part in the recording of Absinthe, an album by English guitarist and composer Dominic Miller, released by the German label ECM, which led to a two-year tour across Asia and Europe. He recently recorded a second album alongside Dominic Miller and Ziv Ravitz for ECM Records.Currently, he tours Europe annually and performs both solo and in collaboration with other musicians. _______ Regarding tickets and payment:If the concert is sold out - please sign up for the waiting list and we will notify you directly. The venue is on the West part of island Møn in the Southern part of Denmark. Arriving from Copenhagen by car the trip takes approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes and free parking is available.
