Wearing Memories

I sitt andre moteshow Minner på meg overskrider Emmaru Upcycling sine egne grenser og presenterer en kolleksjon som utforsker hvordan garderobens minner kan bæres på nytt. Her møter vi plagg som er transformert og gitt et nytt liv, og fornyede kreasjoner som vever sammen personlige og kollektive erindringer. Kvelden berikes også av regissør Dalia Huerta Canos kortfilm ¿Olvida usted algo?, levende pianomusikk av Víctor Prada og son jarocho-duoen Los Dos. In its second fashion show, Wearing Memories Emmaru Upcycling transcends its own boundaries, presenting a collection that explores how old pieces of a wardrobe can be worn again. Here, garments are transformed and given new life, alongside new creations that weave together personal and collective stories. The evening is further enriched by the participation of billedkunstner Lucia Aragon with an exhibition of tempera paintings in dialogue with an installation consisting of a series of graphic works executed in etching, and director Dalia Huerta Cano presenting her short film ¿Olvida usted algo?. The evening will be livened up by musician Víctor Prada playing piano, and son jarocho duo Los Dos executing traditional Veracruz music.
