Light The Dark 2026

Vi lever i en värld som bara blir mörkare och mörkare, men mörkret har inte övervunnit ljuset och kommer heller inte att göra det. Med Light The Dark vill vi göra det vi kan för att lysa upp mörkret.

Light The Dark är en rock- och metalfestival med kristen grund. Det innebär att du, under två dagar, kommer få möta några av den kristna rocken och hårdrockens största band, band som inte nödvändigtvis är troende men som har ett positivt och upplyftande budskap, samt nya unga hungriga band som står redo att sprida ljus i mörkret.

Light The Dark genomförde sin första festival våren 2025, men är samtidigt en fristående fortsättning på metalfestivalen Bobfest, som hölls 1999 till 2005 och som gjorde en tillfällig reunion i mars 2024. Besökte du Bobfest något år kommer därför delar av upplägget kännas bekant.

We live in a world that is only getting darker and darker, but the darkness has not overcome the light, nor will it. With Light The Dark we want to do what we can to light up the darkness.

Light The Dark is a rock and metal festival with a Christian foundation. This means that, for two days, you will get to meet some of the biggest bands in the Christian rock and hard rock scene, bands that are not necessarily believers but that have a positive and uplifting message, as well as new young hungry bands that are ready to spread light in the darkness.

Light The Dark held its first festival in the spring of 2025, but is also an independent continuation of the metal festival Bobfest, which was held from 1999 to 2005 and which had a temporary reunion in March 2024. If you visited Bobfest in any year, parts of the arrangement will therefore feel familiar.
