JOHNNY BURGIN & ESBEN JUST BLUES DUO

Don't miss a rare change to see '23 Blues Music Award Nominee for Best Traditional Blues artist Johnny Burgin in an intimate theatre setting.  Johnny learned the blues in Chicago from legendary artists like Tail Dragger, Sam Lay, and Billy Boy Arnold.  He is recently married to Danish actress Lotte Arnsbjerg and is now based in Copenhagen. Expect a great evening of original blues songs and stories.  He's found a kindred spirit in pianist and vocalist Esben Just, whose latest record is Danish blues recorded in New Orleans with a New Orleans band.  Together these well-travelled musicians cook up quite a gumbo!
