The doors open an hour prior to showstart.ZINSSOU QUARTET Recently crowned winners of the Jazz Competition, Zinssou Quartet isn’t afraid to challenge the boundaries of what a modern jazz quartet can be. With piano and cello at the forefront, the quartet blends elements of classical chamber music, traditional Nordic sounds, and modern, expressive style that could lead one to think of the current scene in New York. Their debut EP "Et ungdomstestamente" (A Youth Testament) is a tribute to naivety, the joy of life, and all the emotions that fill you when you're young. The youthful band approaches music with intuition and curiosity in their pursuit of an honest and vibrant sound. With a strong stage presence, Zinssou Quartet invites the listener into a sensitive and playful universe that resonates deeply in both body and soul.
