Om "What She Said" af Marie Kaae

About “Diaries: After the Fire” by Giraff Graff
On the night before the Danish public holiday Store Bededag, performance artist Camilla Graff Junior’s studio burned down, and she lost most of her diaries. The fire and the loss of the diaries occurred in the midst of an artistic investigation into memory, during which Camilla Graff Junior had performed her work “Diaries” twelve times across seven countries. The artistic research developed during Tid i Rum takes its point of departure in the question: How do we remember?
About “What She Said” by Marie Kaae
“What She Said” is a dance performance rooted in Marie Kaae’s previous sociological research at Sorbonne University. The performance explores beauty discourses, their shadow sides, and their role within society’s subconscious power dynamics. How does beauty relate to capitalist production, reproduction, and inner beauty in relation to God and spirituality? During Tid i Rum, Marie Kaae will continue developing the work, which combines dance and poetry.
