Christmas celebration with the Rydin family! See Christmas preparations in a middle-class home 150 years ago. In the dining room, the table is set with lingonberries, red apples, and treats. In the parlor, the fragrant Christmas tree stands adorned with garlands and ornaments. The home is a reconstruction of the apartment in which the family Rydin rented from 1860. Accessibility! The apartment is located one floor up in the building. No elevator. There are narrow doorways and high thresholds. Welcome to a guided tour of the professor's home at Walmstedtska!  - We recommend that you arrive 10 minutes before the starting time. - Be ready with your ticket to show the guide. - Kindly cancel your booking if you cannot attend, as tickets are limited. Warning! Accessibility: The building is from the 19th century. The floor is located on the second level and there is no elevator.
