Nordic BESS Day

DEAR Batteristas!  We're delighted to welcome you to the 1st ever Nordic Bess Day, a mini-conference taking a deep dive into grid connected batteries and the technology and policy required to operate them 🔋  The Nordic energy landscape is evolving, and battery energy storage is leading the charge. On the bright day of June 12th*, we’re bringing together equally bright minds in the industry for a full day of discussions and networking, from research and materials startups to systems providers, from policy to investment and infrastructure. All focusing on explore the future of stationary and grid storage. For the last four years, West Coast Battery Forum (WCBF) has been arranging meetups for the people working in battery R&D along the Swedish West Coast. We're a non-profit with a mission to promote networking and to serve as a platform of knowledge transfer and learning within the local battery community. However, once a year we try to open up Gothenburg to the world to promote a more far ranging exchange of ideas.  This will be a unique one day event (8.30 AM - late) with a stage program of invited plenaries representing various Nordic actors operating in the BESS and grid space that you don't want to miss!  Preliminary programme and more info can be found here: https://westcoastbattery.org/ * 12th of June, the day is expected to last 18 hours, with nautical twilight between 23:23 and 03:00.
