Falabella and Fauna are joining forces for an interdisciplinary event. We’ve curated a lineup of international musicians, legendary writers and visual artists to interpret the industrial heritage.
SANAM صنم
Expanding on the urgent sound of their acclaimed 2023 debut Aykathani Malakon, the new album draws experimental rock and Arabic song into uneasy, resonant proximity.
Built around voice, buzuq, guitar, bass, electronics, and percussion, SANAM’s music threads hypnotic and fractured rhythms, devotional poetry, noise and melody. Sametou Sawtan reckons with feelings of absence, distance, dislocation — emotional and geographic, spiritual and political — full of tension, precision, disorientation, and depth.
STIG LARSSON + SIMMA
The uncompromising literary provocateur Stig Larsson will be accompanied by the Stockholm-based band Simma.
