Description
This international symposium gathers curators, artists and researchers in a conversation about ecological intimacies and unexpected encounters between humans and nature.
Drawing on Ihrman’s exhibition the symposium highlights posthuman naturecultural discussions around botany, darkness, monsters, fieldwork practices and the scientific legacy of colonialism.
Speakers Friday: Banu Subrmaniam, Nick Dunn, Christina Fredengren, guided tour and performance by artist Ingela Ihrman.
Speakers Saturday: Chus Martínez, Marietta Radomska, Anette Vandsø, Cecilia Åsberg, Tara Mehrabi and Mirko Nikolić.
