Mark your calendar for the weekend of July 5 and 6! That’s your exclusive opportunity to join ABBA historian Carl Magnus Palm on a two-day guided bus tour of ABBA’s Stockholm. The tour runs both days, Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

During the tour Carl Magnus will tell you the stories of all the locations we visit.

See what is included in each day.

Day 1 (July 5):

• We start the day at 9:00 AM with pick-up at ABBA The Museum on Djurgården.

• Our first stop is a uniquevisit to Kronberg’s Studio, an inspiring creative space connected to the ABBA story.

• From there, we’ll travel by bus to the beautiful island of Lidingö, a gem in Stockholm’s inner archipelago, where ABBA members lived and created some of their greatest music.

• After lunch, we head to the Soundtrade Studio (formerly Marcus Music) in Solna, for an exclusive visit.

• Here, we’ll have plenty of time to truly experience the atmosphere where their magic was made.

• Once we’ve explored the studio, we’ll continue to Östermalm to stroll through classic photo spots and other locations deeply connected to ABBA’s legacy.

• Around 6:00 PM, we’ll wrap up the day with a drop-off at ABBA The Museum, enriched with new impressions and memories.

Day 2 (July 6):

• Start at 9:00 AM with pick-up at ABBA The Museum We begin the day with a short bus ride to Stockholm’s Old Town, Gamla Stan, where our guide will take us to historic ABBA-related locations, including spots where the bandmembers once lived and early photo locations.

• From there, we continue to Norrmalm and Skeppsholmen, stopping outside the legendary RMV Studio, an important part of ABBA’s later musical journey.

• After a relaxing lunch in the heart of the city, we head to Kungsholmen and Vasastan to explore more meaningful places, stopping outsidethe former home of the recently passed Michael B. Tretow, the site of an important event in ABBA history.

• The afternoon culminates with a longer stop at Atlantis Studio (formerly Metronome Studio), where we dive deep into the story of ABBA’s recordings with insights from those who were there.

• We return to Djurgården for a final photo stop at the famous ”park bench” and wrap up the day with a farewell at ABBA The Museum.

The price for the two-day tour is SEK 9,900 (approx. EUR 900, USD 1,000 or GBP 770). This price will include lunch and a coffee break each day, but does not include travel to Stockholm or hotel accommodation.
