In English below DoktorspromotionTvå gånger per år firar universitetet alla som nyligen tagit doktorsexamen. Denna examensfest kallas doktorspromotion. Promotionen är väl orkestrerad och sker enligt samma procedur varje år. Uppsalaborna märker av dagen då kanoner skjuter salut både på morgonen och under själva promotionsakten.Program 07.00 Kanonsalut från Uppsala slott 08.00 Klockringning, Uppsala Domkyrka 12.00 Promotionsceremoni i universitetsaulan. Under ceremonin spelar Kungliga Akademiska kapellet, Uppsala universitets symfoniorkester. Ceremonin innefattar kanonsalut från slottet i intervaller mellan cirka klockan 12.45 och 15.00.OBS! Samtliga platser ska vara intagna klockan 12.00. För frågor om biljetter kontakta: akademiskafester@uu.se Doctoral Degree Conferment Ceremony The Doctoral Degree Conferment Ceremony is an event celebrating those who have completed a doctoral degree during the year. It takes place twice a year: the Winter Conferment Ceremony at the end of January and the Spring Conferment Ceremony at the end of May/beginning of June. The people of Uppsala recognise the day by the cannon salutes fired in the morning and during the ceremony.Programme07:00 Cannon salute from Uppsala Castle08:00 Bell-ringing, Uppsala Cathedral12:00 Conferment Ceremony in the Grand Auditorium, The University Main Building.
