THE HOLLOW LAND — 19.11 - 22.11 2025 📍Dansekapellet, KøbenhavnHvad er tilbage, når intet er tilbage? Kan man virkelig erobre noget, der kæmper imod til det sidste? Hvad hvis du oversvømmer det, hvad hvis du brænder det? Vil det tælle som en sejr - eller blot efterlade asken af noget, der var engang?The Hollow Land er en kunstnerisk respons på krigens ødelæggelser af både mennesker, samfund og naturen. Værket tager afsæt i den russiske ødelæggelse af Kakhovka-dæmningen i det sydlige Ukraine, hvor vandmasser opslugte byer, landskaber og minder. I en tid med klimakrise og krig undersøges, hvordan naturen ikke kender grænser. Hendes første værk, Flowers Also Cry, spiller for tredje sæson i Danmark og Nordeuropa og modtog den europæiske Charlemagne Youth Prize i 2024. What if you flood it, what if you burn it? Will it count as a conquering, or will it be ashes of something in the past? The Hollow Land is an artistic response to the destruction of war against both people, societies and nature. The work takes its point of departure in the Russian demolition  of the Kakhovka Dam in southern Ukraine, where massive floods swallowed towns, landscapes, and memories. In a time of climate crisis and war, The Hollow Land explores how nature knows no borders. Her practice engages with themes of freedom, resistance, and the broader consequences of war.
