The session will focus on three key areas: Skills mapping workshop: We’ll start with a reflective exercise where participants identify their own skills and strengths. We’ll help you map these skills to potential business ideas and think about what you can offer as entrepreneurs.Practicalities of setting up a business in Denmark: We’ll cover the essential steps of when and how to register a business in Denmark, including the point at which you need to register for VAT (MOMS). We’ll also discuss important considerations like insurance, necessary permits, and the legal side of different business types.Navigating the early stages of self-employment: Finally, we’ll touch on the mindset and support needed in the early days of creating your own job. This will include tips on finding resources, dealing with uncertainty, and understanding that self-employment is a journey that evolves over time. By the end of the session, you will have a clearer sense of how to turn your skills into a business and what concrete steps you need to take to get started.
