Fluffy Encounters - Guided Visits

Step into a fluffy encounter where wool takes center stage. Join one of the four guided visits to Fluffy Encounters and discover the many possibilities of wool—an age-old fibre being reimagined through co-creation, craftsmanship, and contemporary design. Meet the curators and collaborators, and explore how wool contributes to the growing movement of slow, circular, and local materials. At the heart of the exhibition is a collective wool installation created during the Fluffy Encounters Wool Workshop, presented alongside material samples and products from selected Nordic designers. Together, they showcase a holistic and forward-looking approach to this versatile material. Wool is soft, strong and renewable. Yet in Sweden, more than half of all wool is discarded. Through slow processing and participatory making, the exhibition explores the resurgence of wool. Fluffy Encounters is curated by Fanfaluca Collective in collaboration with Axfoundation and Dalarna Science Park, and hosted in the pavilion Barn Again.
