DUDE-ARELLA: Akttegning Med Calum

DUDE-ARELLA: Akttegning Med Calum Live art event inspired by vintage sci-fi (Barbarella, Forbidden Planet, 2001: A Space Odyssey) combining performance, fine art and cocktails. Presented by Calum Macniven - queer East London artist as seen in Dazed, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK. Drawing inspiration from queer bodies, costuming and set design using sustainable materials. This class will centre around DUDE-ARELLA, played by a performance artist dressed in couture fashions by a London costumier. With DUDE-ARELLA arranged into different positions and scenes, attendees are given the opportunity to explore the body shapes and scenery with techniques ranging from fine detail work to abstract mark-making. A variety of materials will be provided for every session, and are either sustainable sourced or handmade. Each attendee will receive a collection of papers to work on as well as drawing tools including: pencils, charcoal, chinagraph, and some other surprises along the way. Boards to work on will also be provided. All skills are welcome, everyone will be given the same amount of feedback. NO FULL NUDITY
