Photowalk: Film Photography

ODENSE FOTOFESTIVAL 2025 Curious about analog photography or looking to reconnect with it? Join us on Friday the 20th for a hands-on photowalk designed for anyone interested in shooting with film – whether you're brand new or just a little rusty. We’ll begin with a brief but engaging introduction covering the essentials: the main types of 35 mm film cameras, film stocks and ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and lenses. We'll also talk about common mistakes (and what we can learn from them) – and ask the bigger question: Why shoot film in 2025? Then we hit the streets of Odense to put theory into practice: each participant will shoot a full roll of film during the walk. Expect a relaxed, social atmosphere where we learn by doing and from each other. Whether you're nostalgic, curious, or just want to slow down and shoot deliberately, this walk is for you! So bring your film camera and join us! The Photowalk is free and for all.
