Help shape ECHO – talks and concerts for students Would you like hands-on experience with event planning? Would you like to leave your personal mark on a new cultural initiative for students? We invite Danish and international students in Aarhus to take part in a co-creation workshop for ECHO – a new event series combining talks and concerts for students, developed in collaboration with Studenterhus Aarhus and supported by the Carlsberg Foundation. What is ECHO? ECHO is an initiative by Folkeuniversitetet in Aarhus. From 2026–2028, one event will take place each semester at Stakladen, starting on 5 November 2026. Each event is free to attend and includes: An academic talk on a European topic chosen by you and your fellow studentsA live concert featuring an up-and-coming bandA free beer/soft drink All events will be held in English. Why join the workshop? Because your voice matters. At the workshop, you will help define the themes and questions ECHO should explore over the next three years. What European issues feel urgent? What topics are missing from public debate? What conversations should students be part of? This is your opportunity to: Shape the themes of five major public events in AarhusGain hands-on experience in cultural event planningCollaborate with students across disciplines and nationalitiesContribute to a European cultural initiative supported by the Carlsberg Foundation Participants in the workshop will receive: A diploma documenting your contribution to ECHOFree dinner and a beer/soft drink Who can participate? All students in Aarhus – Danish and international from any field of study. No prior knowledge is required. We are looking for curiosity, engagement and diverse perspectives.
