Tag med på cykeltur gennem golfbaner, parkeringspladser og langs motorveje, som alle er officielt del af vores NATURA-2000-beskyttede natur. Hvem behøver egentlig vild natur, når dansk naturbeskyttelse byder på perfekt klippet græs, frisk asfalt og autentisk industrielt landskab? Danmark har sin helt egen måde at passe på naturen, som du må opleve på to hjul. Den oprindelige natur kan være svær at finde, for halvdelen af landet er fuld af marker til dyrefoder. Men vores cykel-guider viser den unikke NATURA 2000-beskyttede natur, der består af motorveje, P-pladser og golfbaner. Smukt – og asfalt kan også noget! Tid og sted: Vi mødes ved Klampenborg station søndag d. 11. maj kl. 11:00. Turen slutter ved Farum st kl. 15:00. Ruten: Turen er åben for alle almindelige motionister - det er en fordel at have en cykel, der ikke er for tung, da vi skal køre gennem varieret terræn med flere informative stop undervejs Vores sceniske rute starter ved Klampenborg station og snor sig først gennem Dyrehavens golfbane – hvor veltrimmede græsplæner nyder fuld naturbeskyttelse. Herfra triller vi videre mod den imponerende parkeringsplads ved Furesø, et mesterværk i beskyttet asfalt. Turens klimaks oplever vi ved den majestætiske motorvejsbro i Farum, hvor flere spor af asfalt og konstant trafik harmonisk sameksisterer under NATURA-2000 beskyttelse. Undervejs vil vores lokale guider dele fascinerende information om Danmarks unikke tilgang til naturbeskyttelse og biodiversitet. Turen foregår på engelsk, så tag gerne internationale venner med! Join us for a unique cycling tour through golf courses, parking lots, and along highways—all officially part of Denmark's NATURA-2000 protected areas. Who needs wild nature when Danish conservation offers perfectly manicured grass, fresh asphalt, and authentic industrial landscapes? Denmark has its very own approach to nature preservation that you must experience on two wheels. Traditional untouched nature is hard to find here, as half the country is covered with fields for animal feed. But our cycling guides will show you Denmark's unique NATURA-2000 protected areas consisting of highways, parking lots, and golf courses. Beautiful – and asphalt has its own special charm! Time and Place: We meet at Klampenborg station (just north of Copenhagen) on Sunday May 11th at 11:00 AM. The tour ends at Farum st. at 3:00 PM. The Route: This tour is suitable for casual cyclists—a lighter bicycle is recommended as we'll ride through varied terrain with several informative stops along the way Our scenic route begins at Klampenborg station and winds through the golf course in Dyrehaven (The Deer Park)—where meticulously groomed lawns enjoy full nature protection status. From there, we'll cruise to the impressive parking lot at Lake Furesø, a masterpiece of protected asphalt The highlight of our tour is the majestic highway bridge in Farum, where multiple lanes of asphalt and constant traffic harmoniously coexist under NATURA-2000 protection Along the way, our local guides will share fascinating information about Denmark's unique approach to nature conservation and biodiversity The tour is conducted in English, so feel free to bring your international friends!
