What to Expect I’ll guide you through the essential studio lighting setup and take care of the technical side, so you can focus fully on shooting, composing, and connecting with your subject. You’ll get simple challenges involving classic lighting patterns like Rembrandt, butterfly, and loop lighting – and learn how light shapes and defines a face.We’ll build your understanding of posing, perspective, and storytelling without overloading you with jargon. This is learning by doing, where technical skills are woven naturally into the creative process – always with clear explanations tailored to what we’re working on in the moment. By the end of the workshop We’ll gather around a screen to review your portraits – reflect on what worked well, get feedback from your model and peers, and leave with both confidence and concrete results.
