Large bags and items (trolleys, scooters) are not allowed inside the building. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Discover during 3daysofdesign at the French Embassy in Denmark a selection of iconic works by leading French designers of the 20th century and reissued by major contemporary houses. During the festival, the French Embassy in Denmark opens the doors of the Thott Palace in the heart of Copenhagen to present the exhibition Résurgences, conceived and curated by Le French Design and Mobilier national.  This exhibition, which has been a huge hit in Paris this fall, brings together outstanding expertise of historic design and contemporary crafts, projecting the heritage and contemporary vitality of French design onto the international stage. These furniture reissues embody what the exhibition’s curator, Jean-Paul Bath, defines as “Lyrical Design”: his term for a distinctly French sensibility that fuses elegance, poetry and extraordinary craftsmanship. The contemporary works establish a dialogue with the Thott Palace’s beautiful and unique interior decorations and furniture, which date back to the 17th and 18th centuries.
