It’s no exaggeration to call OLEG SKRYPKA a national legend. Yet before the times of Ukrainian independence, he and VOPLI VIDOPLIASSOVA (VV) rocked on numerous arenas in Ukraine and abroad. Oleg is an actor, composer, founder of national festivals Land of Dreams, Rock Sich and many cultural projects. His most famous brainchild is VV, a mind-blowing rock lineup. The band stood at the origins of modern Ukrainian music. SKRYPKA was actually the first one in his country to sing rock in Ukrainian. And still today VV continue to create the history of quality rock music, gathering arenas and breaking stereotypes of conventional ethno rock. The melodic hits of VV are sung by millions, and the special feature of the band is the explosive energy of live performances and dedication to Ukrainian culture. For 40 (!!) years, VV have been sharing their irresistible energy with fans all over the world. SKRYPKA has lived, worked and toured extensively both in Ukraine and in the West, with VV and other projects.
