For most residents of Lund today, the cathedral is more a beautiful landmark on the skyline than a source of spiritual guidance. But it hasn’t always been this way. The Church played a crucial role in the founding of Lund and in shaping the city into one of the most important centres in the Nordic region during the Middle Ages. Join us on a guided walk exploring how the Church influenced medieval Lund—and discover how the Reformation in Denmark ultimately led to the city’s decline.
