Drapery Studies in Grisaille - Painting Workshop & Cider with Lukas Häring

Join artist Lukas Häring (Kunsthus Tese) for an afternoon of painting and learning. In this workshop, we’ll work with a classical academic exercise: painting fabric folds using only black and white acrylics. Through grisaille studies, you’ll learn how light, shadow, and structure create convincing drapery-an essential foundation for improving form, depth, and observation. After many participants asked for more technical and skill-focused workshops, this session puts special emphasis on fundamentals and structured approaches, helping you work with clarity and confidence instead of getting lost or frustrated early in the process. The workshop is open to all levels. Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or already have experience, you’ll receive personal guidance and feedback throughout the session. All materials and equipment are included, and you’ll leave with a finished study to take home. 6 spots available :) And, in true artistic spirit, enjoy a refreshing glass of local cider from Æblefald while you paint.
