Inuit Heritage Concert: Sounds of The Arctic

Join us for a mesmerizing night of music that bridges Greenlandic tradition and modernity, featuring two acts that weave together Inuit heritage, Indie music and folk-inspired melodies.  Nive & The Deer Children Duo offer something as unique as Greenlandic indie Americana folk - a sound that takes you on an international musical journey with songs created in Greenland as well as the US. INUANIMA is an experimental music - and performance - duo.Their music is a quest for a contemporary universal sound inspired by shamanic traditions, especially their own indigenous cultural heritage, Inuit, Balkan and Scandinavian.Their music is described as a tribute to the multicultural positive coexistence between nature and humans. This concert is co-hosted by turkis and is the kick-off to the Unity in Diversity days organized by Mellemfolkeligt Samvirke. During this 4-day festival we celebrate diversity and inclusion in our society through workshops, talks and music. The profits from the event will be donated to the Rapid Response funds for activists in danger.
