Description

BIG BANG – start the scene with big impact!  Creative Use of Inspiration The audience gives the suggestion “flower,” and the first thing we see is an improviser walking on stage with a bouquet or picking a flower. We hear “operating room,” and two surgeons start putting on gloves. How many times have we seen this already? Inspiration can become a trap of banal and predictable choices. How can we change that, and how do we avoid it? BIG BANG! – An original start to a scene or show is like a fireworks explosion – it makes an impression and sticks in memory. Start with impact, creatively, and confidently. Surprise your audience and partner with an unexpected, fresh opening. Level up and start your show like a PRO! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to best use suggestions without falling into patterns and how to have fun with them. You’ll get creative tools to deal with the toughest, most mundane, or repetitive suggestions. You’ll never feel like your mind is blank and out of ideas again. You’ll also learn how to perform without verbal inspiration, just like many great improvisers – because true inspiration lies in your partner, in yourself, and in the space around you. BIG BANG! – Time to ignite your creativity!
