Galaxies spin faster than visible matter can explain—pointing to either invisible dark matter or a need to rethink gravity. While dark matter is the leading theory, some argue for modified gravity based on observed galactic patterns. PhD student Konstantin Haubner studies stellar and gas orbits to uncover what truly drives galactic motion.
